Default May I use 2S lipo on a Flysky GT5?

I just received my new Flysky GT5. It requires 4 AA batteries.

Here is my question. May I use a spare 2S 7.4V (max 8.4v) lipo battery for it? I know how to wire it, but want to make sure I won't burn up this thing.

The issue is the battery tray has tobe ground out of the flysky. they are molded into the bottom of the cases. Would have been nice if they used a 4 cell tray.

Agree! I had to cut the battery tray out and use a dremel to grind the uneven surfaces so as to make my 2s lipo battery fit.

Imagine they design the battery tray like a gun magazine. We can either use a magazine for 4 AA batteries or a magazine for a regular sized 2S lipo battery.
