Default Pit Bags

What's new and easy out there? Right now I am using my purple Mugen bag. It gets heavy to carry or roll around on a small dolly.

The Team Magic F8 bag is the best bag on the market. It is on the expensive side ($160), but the quality is the best I have seen on any pit bag to date.

A cheaper option is the Ofna bag. The bag and boxes are not as well made, but it does come with a tool pouch and tranmitter case.

It's either the Team Magic and the 3Racing

The TM F8 is more suitable for 1/8 since it's BIGGER The other TM and 3racing are the same and their best advantage is that they fit to my truck - miata.

I have the Team Magic bag and love it. The boxes are made of a corrogated plastic that hold ups much better than othere bags cardboard boxes. Given how much we spend on all that RC equipment, a proper bag at $150 is still a good deal.

I use the Okeechobee Fats tackle bag from Wal-Mart that holds 8 plastic Plano boxes for parts, tools, oils, batteries, etc. I took two out to fit my soldering iron, comm lathe, disharger in there with the 6 other boxes. it surprisingly holds more then what I thought it would. Motor spray, Ott-Lite, Charger, all my tools, batteries, spare parts for 3 different cars, 10 manuals, files,Hudy setup tools, Orion lap counter, the list goes on.

Since we are talking about pit bags, does anyone know any small pit bag?? Like the Kyosho one but much cheaper?

I have the F8, and it's great. You have to love the plastic boxes too. Holds more stuff than you'll use at the track. That's probably it's only problem, it will get heavy!

Just talk to Chuck at HT, he'll order you one. I think that they are selling them for around $125.

I just got Sportwerks 1/10 hauler bag the other day. Great bag, nice finish. I think they also make an 8th scale version of it. Infact it looks alot like the Team Magic's bag. I got mine from Horizon's website and while most of us stay clear of that one because of the prices, these are very reasonably priced and the shipping charges are very low for such a large product. I paid 7 bucks shipping on my 1/10 hauler. http://www.horizonhobby.com/Search/D...ler+bag&CatId=

P.S. The 1/8 is out of stock..but for you tenth scale guys; that one is around.

The TMF8 is really nice but I think it will get really heavy when you fill it up. I think that would be good if you travel around to big races. Mainly wanting a small one with wheels. Might just buy a carry-on!

There are two bags that I am looking to get right now at my LSH. They have a TAMIYA or HPI bag that is smaller than my Mugen purple bag and with wheels and a handle built in. Looks like a carry on but it says TAMIYA on it.

You could check out the smaller Team Magic also. It is really nice....it has a tool holder on top, setup board holder, handle and wheels...

You are right about the F8 bag, it gets VERY heavy if you shoehorn all you can into it. It isn't a problem till you have to lift into the back of a SUV or truck...then you better have "support"
