Johnn27 what motor are you using for that gearing range?
I’m using a hobbywing 21.5 at about 39-40 degree timing.1s battery. I’m currently geared at 68-49 and I have absolutely nothing for the top guys. They’re turning 11.6 - 12.0 lap times and my hero lap is 12.2. I can’t seem to string low laps together. It’s not much fun when they’re pulling 11.6’s and I have to pull over for them. Feeling a little frustrated about this

my Reedy Power Team Associated 12R5.2 in GT12 was really good for the 1st time in a race. This class is fun and just fast enough. Simple and a drivers class. Ill be back for more and more. Fun racing with the Apex crew, and special thanks to JB2 and Terryl for all the help.

Great picture of charging your battery in the car. I did that and poof there went the whole car in flames with no warning. Even saw someone at the Snowbirds that made the A main do the same thing. Don't say that won't happen to you- it can. Have fun.

He could be just monitoring the voltage to keep it close to 4.20. I do that in every stock class I race. Also, it is very rare for a lipo to blow just charging in the open. Heat is the enemy and friend to Lipos. Just enough, low IR's and great punch, too much and poof. Had that happen to a pit neighbor at the Full Throttle race because he was charging in a heated Lipo sack and it overheated.

To Bad! 3-4 amps and had one to destroy the entire car. The guy at the hobby shop lost his entire house and he was charging at low amps. How about discharging a 5 amps- When it happens to you good luck. Two of the others did blow at a high amp charge. So you are experts on when and how the blow- Just don't want that to happen to anyone! I use the the battery box only to charge and discharge the batterys- it's always better to be safe than sorry but then that's just me.
