yeah it kinda lost me...and I know Beave, his car was very fast and smooth at the ROAR race this past weekend... he finished 2nd behind multi-National Champion John Barron, and even took TQ and fast lap at times over the weekend

One example though - telling people to never glue the front tires is awful advice. Gluing the front tires is one of the easiest ways to make these cars more drivable for the majority of people. Not only will it often make the cars easier to drive but it will also make them easier to drive from the start which is what many struggle with in this class.

In the time I've run the class, I've noticed any one of 10 different ways people go about a setup, and I think that's the cool thing to me... there isn't one specific formula for success. Locally, we have guys running spools, gear diffs, ball diffs, different chassis, setups, etc..
I'm currently running a ball diff in my Schumacher, and not because the spool couldn't work, but rather the ball diff helped with our tight track layout as well as the bumps that our temporary track has. Our surface is pretty unique, but everyone's has their quirks. I guess my point is, absorb the info you see here and test, test, test! Don't be afraid to find what works for you.
I gotta get to TN at some point and try my hand at some Apex GT12!

I would probably listen to what kave has to say, he's tested more than any 5 of everyone else on here combined.. and won 1 of the A's at the indoor champs in this class. For guys set in their ways, so be it. For guys looking for knowledge to be gained, would pay attention to his posts

DARKSIDE I dunno, I think I took a wrong turn somewhere. Beave hasn't beat my 11.511 legitimately yet. I'm ready to see how things go this weekend tho!

What's a good spur and pinion range to start with?
