We are running the gloriously underpowered HW 17.5 g2.1.....solves all the weight problems if you balance the car at all. 177g of bliss.

I decided to try out the Xray Gear Diff yesterday on my GT12 car. I was running a spool but I definitely liked the gear diff better. Car turned better and drove off the corners very well. I'm sticking with the gear diff.

I agree. Much more consistent with the gear diff and same or better lap times.

they both are wonderful but drive
completely different, I use a lot of wheel throw compared to
some And the a12 seems to have a tad push on entry with great mid to exit steering. I can now add entry steering as I need or desire. The x12 steers very heavily going in and tends to push mid to exit. Exit steering can be added there as well. So for me it came down to simply the way I drive and want a car to drive, so I stuck with the a12

Is that a custom battery mount or is that forsale somewhere? Looks great I need two of them.

OK, my only complaint is a lack of small enough ring gears. I bought the smallest I could find, 76 teeth and the largest pinion that will fit on the X12 is a 54 (130 total teeth), so I'm stuck at a 96 roll out with a 43mm rear tire. Does anyone know if anyone makes a 72 tooth ring gear for the Xray Gear Diff? Thanks, Glenn

Well if you are talented enough you can take someones gear and cut it to work. It has been done before!
