S/O to people that do one color paint jobs cuz I'm lazy and not masking shit opposed to 'saving weight'

Can we PLEASE reduce the minimum weight? IMO its F’n stupid to be adding a 35+ gram steel ballast bar just to get up to the 730 minimum weight rule. And that’s with a GT body. Even more useless ballast is necessary when running a regular weight black-art Toyota. I do nothing special to save weight on my cars and it seems so stupid to be putting tungsten plates under the battery or big heavy steel bars in front of it.

I also do one color only. If I feel adventurous I might use some pin stripe tape on the car too. That does not happen very often. Lol. Happy New Year to ALL of you.

I concur.... even in my mod car with a heavy ass speedo and 8k pack in adding a little weight.

My GT12 at champs was 760 with zero weight added. All carbon car. No alloy screws, big speedo, heavy servo, big wire, 8200 pack, thick paint. Just because you "can" get a car super light doesn't mean it is healthy for the class.
Heavy cars drive better.

Making GT12 lighter than LMP is not what anybody should be thinking about nor does it make sense. If anything with heavier bodies the class weights should be higher.

I was admiring the pic of your nice clean set-up, and noticed the red and black wires on the capacitor for the esc look very close to touching each other. I had that happen once, touch together, and so is only reason I took notice. Maybe the angle of the picture makes it look closer than they are.
