Default trinity digital heat tyre warmers

hi does anyone know what type of current these things draw as i was using them for the first time yesterday and they ate up my 12 volt and then took ages to heat up due to lower voltage they also seem to take a long time to heat on a 12 volt battery even when its in good condition which means that i have to leave them on permanently.

thanks

Yeah I have the Much More ones and they killed my 12v as well ... so much so that I had to buy a separate 12v as had no juice left to charge my cells

The much more ones do heat up really quick though ..... so sounds odd the Trinity ones wouldn't.

You should be using a Power Supply with your Tire Warmers, personally i did have the trinity, then switched to the Much More, then Reciently purchased the Much More Ctx Tire Warmers, but ive always used a constant flow from a power supply!

when racing outdoors we normally have to use a 12 volt as no mains available but im looking into getting e generator. Did some testing with my power supply last night (16A) hooked up 2 chargers charging at 5 amps each and a novak smart tray discharging to 0.3 and tyre warmers. I set the tyre warmers to max (98deg) and waited. The fronts got to 96 in about 8 mins the rears wouldnt go past 83. Stopped the chargers and the rears got to 93.
