make it 6+mm thick pockets 1mm deep max and seal the board after.
I would buy one of these. i have been searching for the carbon fiber and blue aluminum JConcepts one forever. would gladly pay 200 for one

What Carbon fiber do you guys think would look best forged carbon or matte carbon or plain or twill 2x2 weave???

2x2 twill weave but on glossy carbon.

I think matte makes more sense... As on the glossy one you will see dirt, scratches, wear more...

Which does silver sharpie come off of easier? I always write my race info on my pit board, but I guess I could use a piece of blue tape.
