The Gen-X SE you were suggested is an older model that was designed around foam tires and the WGT class rules. The foam tires caused a lot of racers to leave the class and it was rejuvenated to a point as WGT-R using rubber tires. The Gen-X RT was designed around this change and is the current 10 scale car CRC is selling that is why is in stock. Not sure if you are using this as a WGT-R or some other class but these are both 200mm wide racers. The two cars share many of the same parts.

The SE can easily be converted to use rubber tires all you need are the set of 3, 4 and 5 mm spacers CRC sells or other spacers to get under the lower arms allowing ride height for rubber tires. Conversely the RT runs just fine on WGT foam tires, I've used them on new tracks until the traction comes up and by changing the spacers you can account for the differing ride heights with the foams.
