Ok? Was the video the only thing I listed? nope, I also said that they will have an announcement on the 27 on their site which google translate can be used on and I sure several people here will post it translated anyways. Plus their youtube has an auto-translate option to English.

I owned and raced the F201 on different surfaces (asphalt parking lots, dedicated asphalt track at a TCS race & gray ozite carpet at club & TCS races). There were only 3 things that were an issue on the box stock car...
1 - Only 2 gearing options - hopefully the TC-01 will have more gearing options like the TT-01 or TT-02 vehicles
2 - Weak front lower a-arms - Tamiya eventually released better a-arms, but it looks like the TC-01 is a better design.
3 - Limited wheel/tire options. - Since the TC-01 appears to use TC tires, that shouldn't be an issue.

Of course there were quirks with the F201, but the car could be tuned and raced very successfully. The only thing that I really didn't like on the F201 was the location of the servo. However with the TC-01 it looks like it should be easy to access or replace it if you have any problems.

I actually don't mind the unique bath tub style car that Tamiya has released. I am currently racing a TA-07 and I don't find it any more difficult to work on than any other belt or shaft drive cars that I've owned.

TA (There have been 7 in the series thus far)
TB (There have been 5 in the series thus far)
TC (That's the new designation for a new platform series) TC-02, TC-03 TC-04 etc....
TD (10 years into the future) These will be perpetual motion 4WD R/C chassis cars.

Haha! I would like to fit the FE body to a proper traditional F1 chassis like my TRF103 but seems difficult due to 15mm difference of wheelbase. A F103GT body would definitely fit on TC-01 since they have same wheelbase, so a TS050 on this can also be a good idea.

Hey Everyone......This is a TOURING car chassis not a F1.......no comparison to the f201 which was a 4wd F1 only chassis.
This uses Standard TC wheels TB05 Drivetrain with a newly designed Suspension......EVEN comes with the front bumper to run a tc body in the box. If they would have released the chassis set without the body the presentation would have been much better as that class of racing is not very popular. Imagine a trf version of this........Wow.......
