Oh man, I'm so getting this. Definitely gonna run this in 2wd drive, could be a classic new euro truck style class that takes over by storm. Really do dig the independent cantilever suspension. For sure the F1 class is gonna buy the halo for their bodies (hopefully a decent part)

it is nice to see we can run this with touring body on. I wonder how it feels like compare to the regular ta and tb series.

I like the mid-mid motor layout and the double-wishbone upper suspension arms. IFS all the way!
I'm pretty excited on this one. It'll be a good project to upgrade as well. I can foresee a carbon fiber upper/lower suspension arms and side chassis brace upgrade too.

I have never been a fan of Tamiya's exoskeleton style chassis and maintenance is likely a PITA like it is on their other cars using this style chassis. It's not clear how you would change gearing or even set gear mesh. The battery tray shows a 2S LiFe 6.6v battery which seems popular in Japan but not anywhere else, but hopefully it can accommodate a shorty 2S Lipo pack. The ESC sitting under the steering link also makes access difficult and in general it seems overly complicated for no reason.
