Fortmula E is the full-size version of what everyone on this forum "Electric On-Road" does. RC F1 cars should have nitro or gas engines. I'm surprised it took this long to get interest in Formula-E RC car.

I don't think you could fit a low slung body over the shock towers on most touring cars such as a Tamiya TT-01. There are several existing 4wd Tamiya on-road kits that do have inboard front suspension (IFS) that can use very low profile bodies in the front (TB-03, TB-04, TA-05, TA-06, others?) These probably would be a better option if you were going to convert an existing touring car. I will be interested to see what the actual chassis looks like. Hopefully it will share suspension parts with existing Tamiya kits.

They are using an F1 tamiya chassis in the workshop as the basis for the car but undoubtedly they are making the most of all the R&D that went into the body.

seems as bad as the real Formula E... At least last year...
ABS body? 4wd? I feel a successor of the TL-01...

I wonder why TC01? It looks like it has F201 style pushrod suspension. And its a Formula type body. Wouldnt F202 or F301 make more sense? Then again, I still think the TA03 and TB01 were switched at birth and given the wrong names. 🤪

Well it's running touring car tyres so maybe they didn't want to restrict the chassis to Formula bodies
