Great tip on the screws fat500! I had realized I had similar flutton screws from Avid (titanium). They seem to hold the upper plate more rigidly after I installed it.

Oh yeah, Stiebler has piloted the Icon 2 to be the 2022 F1 world champ. Too bad Ratheisky was not there to battle it out too but nice to see Schumacher get the title for a good car.

It wasn't technically an F1 championship though was it? I believe that's why Ratheisky didn't come, too much expense for no title. But a good drive to win it.

I was surprised he wasn’t there, kinda weak exposure for the class,I would have liked to see more under the hood pic, still a worlds title tho. I guess lol……..

IFMAR specifically says in the rules that the supporting classes such as the Formula one class is NOT a world championship.

It was awesome experience my first Schumacher kit.
now just waiting for ULP screws to arrive.

Seen the Icon 2 dip to $275 on Amain a few times. Combine that with a $30 off coupon (when your cart is $300), makes for a fantastic deal when other F1 cars are $350-400.

I picked one up when Amain had it for $290 (before coupon), wished I waited a little longer!

Looking for a solution to accurately measure caster on the Icon2. Was looking at Exotek's caster Doodles but not sure if they will work on the Icon 2... has anyone tried them?
