Do you happen to know what part numbers these were? Or a good place to order said parts from? Where I am here in Michigan, Shumacher is barely, if at all, supported. I wanna change that!

Question just for curiosity ..... Inline vs Across battery?
Ive seen some in the past have inline but productions are always across.
Pros and Cons? (besides real estate for electronics mounting)

Just looking for feedback on what it would do in a F1.
Ive seen it in 12scale benefit the non-modified classes but never dug into what it would do in F1.

On my TRF103, I use transverse/across if the track layout is twisty. The car transitions from one turn to the next much quicker. In-line on tracks with more long turns/sweepers. I start with the battery towards the back and move it forward if the car starts to traction roll. I have not thought about trying this on my Icon.

Are the new parts for the Icon 2 a straight fit onto the OG Icon?

My camber is off with the stock strap. 2 degrees left and 3.5 for the right side. New car just built and has not been on the ground yet.

just unscrew a bit the camber strap and take your camber gauge play with the little crew hole play to reach the correct camber and caster each side and screw it tight

Are you using setup gauges or using a camber gauge against the tires? Tires are very unreliable for camber readings. Make sure the pivot balls in the arms are free also. They can pull the kingpins out of alignment and affect camber as well.

icon has the worst front end of all F1 with regards to tweak, your better off selling the car while it’s new

Krazed Builds is driving the Icon as well so maybe he has some future parts cooking up

Honestly once you upgrade to the heavy duty posts, it does not tweak as much. Still the fastest F1 of the ones I have tested (on black carpet anyways).

For the new build issue, I would contact Schumacher for them to take a look at it. Could be a manufacturing issue.

Maybe krazed builds could introduce unslotted upper arms or have a bushing insert system for caster for a truly bulletproof front end.

Another area of concern with regard to tweak is the lower arms. Once they take a good hit they’ll have a a certain bend to em’ and will cause the the indifference in camber


Only if Kraze Builds make a-arms and a upper deck then I’ll give it another try
