The part number for the heavy duty posts is u8161. You can get them at discount rc store. There really isn't a heavy duty upper deck but different straps for the front that change the camber and width of the front end. Other than a few different spring sets for setup I really haven't needed to get anything else.

Anytime bud. Always happy to help. I love how this car drives on carpet and like helping others get the same fun with it. It can be a little frustrating to get set right but once you get there this thing is a beast.

Can anyone recommend bodies that will fit the ICON? A few of the guys that run them said that there are some bodies where the pods rub on the servo horn.

A body that actually looks cool would be a bonus

Both bodies fit well and there is enough clearance near the servo, I do use an alloy servo arm, so that might give me more space than a servo saver. I usually run the Montech because that is a newer type and should give better handling as it is narrower and lighter. I think the only way the servo arm could hit the body is if it is mounted to far back. The servo arm doesn't need to turn much to get full steering.

I'm running a Montech F22 body on mines. Originally was going to use an F18 but found the F22 was a bit better for room.

Has anyone tried the F104 2017 body? That’s what I was going to go with. Despite all the newer options out there, it’s still my favorite looking body.

Thanks for the answers. While I'm asking questions, any good option parts for running on asphalt? I've got the tuning springs set and silver side springs; anything else?

The dampener set if you haven't gotten it yet. It diffinately helps on rough asphalt.

It's to narrow in the body to fit these newer cars. You would probably end up hacking it all to hell to get it to fit.

Hi gang. Long tome techie but new to Icon. No nothing about this type of tuning(12th scale) . I hv read tge manual multiple times and looked at some set ups. My car came on alum chassis. We have high bite black carpet. Going to carbon chassis. How do you adjust front droop? Just not understanding how to adjust this or front ride height. Tx in advance gang
