GP 4300 -vs- IB 4200

I'm starting this thread for all the battery matchers out there to voice your opinions and educated input on the differences between the new GP4300's and the new IB4200's.

I'm contemplating getting these cells for my 12th scale and am curious about what the pro's & con's of each one are. Is one better than the other in overall performance??

Thanks in advance for your input!

From what I've heard from my distributors and other testers is that the IBs are better in every aspect (runtime, voltage, IR) - I have seen a graph to the contrary, but I trust my other sources more (very well known companies in the industry).

No Offense to Roger - and nothing personal Matt but I would not qualify you as a "Battery Matcher" or an educated resource on this topic

I was wondering if you did any at home testing on these batteries and what kind of numbers they were showing?

I have not done any "Home Testing".

I am hoping some of the "Professionals" / "Battery Matchers" could chime in on this subject and fill us in on the aspects/results of their testing.

from my testing:
the IB cells 3800-4200 still seem to be the better overall voltage cell than the newest batch of GP 3700s-4300s, Just Like the 4200 goes from IB its right on par with the 3800 killer volts and higher runtimes, the GP 4300 is still not up with IB in my opinion, therefore we do not plan on matching any of the GP3700s or 4300s at this time, we will still continue to match the GP1100 as they tend to produce more volts than the ib1200s and the 1400s
