Default F-1 Rubber Tires

I picked up a used Tamiya F104 ver 2 Pro that came with a set of used rubber tires, but there are no markings to determine what they might be. I see that CRC sell a set of 4 pre glued RT-1 tires but they are quite expensive. Gravity RC also sell a pre glued set of 4 the G-Spec tires for about half the price. What are the go to F-1 tires now? My club uses older grey carpet.

CRC tires are way faster. The only time to use the Gravity tire is when its the spec tire for a big race.

Thanks guys, seems the choice is clear. I have also been advised to consider the Volante tires, green fronts and red rears.

The volantes work ok. The crcs are better on grey. I find the rear volante tires go away after about 3 minutes no matter what saucing method I use. I made wholesale changes to my car to try and get the volantes to work for 5 mins(should know this weekend if it worked). Iíve also heard good things about the new sweeps

OK, seems the best tire for grey carpet is the CRC RT1 tires. The $80+ price tag is crazy but hopefully they last.

you can get upwards of 2 seasons out of the CRC's, especially on carpet. their lifespan is really impressive.

A-main and TQRC have the CRC tires for $69.99 (about $100 Cdn or more shipped). Where are they for $59.99?

They have been 59.99 for awhile- then they went to 89.99 back down to 59.99 and now 69.99. my last set was 59.99 and they are still in the container. Will mount them next month on my F1.Sorry for the prices but that what they were and presently 69.99.

https://gripworksrc.com maybe an option for you. Great service, quick shipping, shoot Alex an email or text. Canadian dollars.

https://gripworksrc.com/collections/f1-tires

$82.99 for mounted set of 4

But it seems if you order them separate and glue them yourself it maybe cheaper:
$25.99 fronts
$28.99 rears (on sale)
$12.44 rims
equals $67.42

Check it out,

Ivan
