My go-to blinky speed control has always been the Hobbywing Justock, and the new 60A XR10 is the gold standard in my mind.

Just went back to Tekin from Hobbywing. Not saying they are any better, just had my fill of sensor issues with HW's at the worst possible times, lol.
Had mine "turn off" on its own, or go into sensorless mode a few times. Changed ESC's, no more issues.

I have tried a few and currently running the maclan picco 100a
seems pretty solid running 13.5t tourer and being able to get the tuning app with data logging on your phone means no more buying extra programming cards/boxes

Orca OE101 is a sight step up from blinky. But not a full mod esc and won’t break the bank.

Thanks all replies. Lets foucs on the speed performance. does any esc really go faster ,punch and top speed over others. I have heard the orca esc runs faster then hw esc. What is the esc design logic behind it? Is it all the blinky esc suppose to have a simple dc to ac converter straight out for the max power output and there is no timing involved? If so, why there is any speed different in different esc? Lets forget the esc ir .

Speed, no. The main differentiators are brake strength (due to different algorithms) and adjustability (drive frequency can affect punch). Blinky ESCs have strict timing requirements they have to conform to that prevents them from going faster than the others.

ok thanks, I have been using XR10 stock spec. So if I go blinky, there is no reason to buy another esc.

Just set your ESC to blinky and you're home.

I'd say it depends on what class you're running to an extent, and if you're having trouble getting to class weight. Higher amp ratings are going to weigh more all things being equal.

The ESC with the most FETs and the best FETS will usually be the better performance ESC. Mod ESCs have more FETS than stock ESCs, and thus they cost more. How adjustable the ESC is can also be a factor in your decision, as well as how to modify the settings (USB, wifi, phone compatibility, etc). I've found the braking power is a combination of both motor and ESC, so that one can be harder to feel the differences, but I do know that the FETS also play a role in braking power as well as the software design (versions). I've had good luck with the new R1 stock ESC.

I have owned almost every newer recent esc to try and the XSC150P from Pro Performance Rc is the absolute fastest I have found. My 21.5 touring on Blinky gets the same lap time as 17.5 cars. It is also highly adjustable and the personalized support from the company is second to none

In France, on the podium there are usually HW XR10, orca r32, R1wurks. But others ESC could be on too. I don't think there are differences between any brands. Motors make difference.
