I'm new to rc racing. I just bought two used XRay T4 chassis from a club member who was getting out of VTA. One is a 2012 and one is a 2017. I would like an aluminum chassis for the 2017 but I'm having trouble finding one online. I've found lots of other years bu I dont know how to tell what parts are comparable with which years. Is there a listing anywhere of parts compatability between T4 chassis?

That being said ... You can using chassis from other years with only minor incompatibilities.

For the 2017 you can fit a 2016 chassis. To run a newer chassis you'll also need a new motor mount and plate. At which point its probably cheaper to sell the 17 and buy an 18 with an alu chassis.

No such thing as a t4 2012... the t4 came out in 2013.

There are quite a few 2017 chassis for sale here on the forums. Bigwavedave has a couple for sale right now.
