Default leads on gxf getting hot & melting

when i am discharging a pack at 30 amps with my turbo 35 gfx the large positive alligater clip gets really hot , it starts smoking and melting the red boot around clip. any advise?

You can try installing a new alligator clip, or see if there is something that would cause an extreme amount of resistance.

I had the similar problem of the clips getting way to hot melting the rubber boots and it was due to a bad solder joint between the lead and the alligator clip. No problems doing 30A after resoldering the joint with some silver solder.
