This isn't a folding light, but I plan to use it for my tent in hanging fashion.

I was at home depot the other day and found the grip light. Info on it can be found at:
http://www.strait-line.com/irwin/con...ip_light.jhtml

Main features, is has 2 13w bulbs, which are enclosed and thus protected, and a sliding grip thing that grap onto other things to hold it into place.

Prices was around $29.00

And it's compact too, more slender and longer than the folding lights.

After opening it and playing with it for a few minutes I decided I need another one.

As far as the ott-lite, be careful where you buy it. Jo-anns has it but they want a small fortune for it (list price is near $100 and I think they try to sell it for $60). I picked a new one up on ebay for $30 or so and that had the magnifier piece too.

This is a decent option. Also available at Staples.

Question, regarding AC Power.

It's 110V there right? So I have no more use for my 220 pit lights and soldering Iron? How much are the soldering Iron's there, a good one all the way up to a HAKO(s.p?) Thanks

If your lucky, an "Ott" branded light can be had at BJ's Whosale for just a little more then 25 bucks. The casing is of a little better quality then the knock offs.

Just have to be lucky when BJ's has them in stock
