I have to say I'm not particularly sure about that vent design..... You may end up with a tire that is slightly out of round, even with trimming...

But otherwise good job.

me either but getting a bubble out from underneath the meat in the sandwich is tough.


all 4 pieces. here is the new vent that I dont have allot of hope for.

^That tyre looks messed up lol. Next time the vent should be along the circumference, not across the width. That funnel looks cute.

you got it. Looks like I chewed it out. That is some tough rubber. You can see the ridges on the GT rim and so on. I used these dimensions to work out the mold dimensions.

the cute funnel did actually help. I poured some rubber tonight so we will see if it works tomorrow. What worked best was no venting around the circumference or edges. Just drilling holes from the top to the bottom of the foam mold resulted in no bubbles. But under a vacuum I lost some urethane. probably a funnel or two on the top mold with a couple holes drilled will let the bubbles out and hold a reservoir of urethan to replace the bubbles.
