The screws are too close to fit the x ray shim. You've got 2 options: either you dremel the pockets in the shim or you simply cut the shim in the middle into 2 parts. You can now put it beneath the king pin , instead of shimming the whole front carbon assembly. Far better in my opinion.

Well I got a fair deal and ordered an E3 today, really looking forward to build. Do I have to use a mini servo with this kit? For some reason I thought I was able to use a Std size ..lol

No hope, standard size servo doesn't fit.

What, you mean this James Allison? One of the people helping organise the 12th Worlds works for the Mercedes F1 team and arranged for him to pop down and hand out the trophies, he doesn't live far away.

Anyone else have an issue with the chassis holes for the center dampening post not being countersunk?

Anyone tried adapting a gear diff to the E3?

Some people used to run the XRAY one in the E2 so that would also work in the E3, but to be honest nowadays most run a spool.

just wondering how high a 1/12 pan car body should be?
my eclipse 3 chassis front height in 3.5mm and 3.7mm rear,

is it ok to have a 1/12 scale body for about 3.8~4mm high? from a plate ground?

because every-time I finished a run I can see my body is touching the ground

Great question, I too want to know what ride height to set it at. We have a bumpy smaller asphalt track (medium traction) and I need a baseline setup
