Default Vacuum Forming TC Bodies

Hi all,
I know vacuum forming is possible; I'm hoping to hear input from people who have tried it.

There are several discontinued TC bodies for (1:1) cars I love and very popular USGT bodies you can no longer buy. I'm wondering how possible vacuum forming new ones is.

1. If you've tried this what are the expected costs? (Initial and marginal)
2. If I'm vacuum forming a body based on a real car or discontinued body for my own personal use, are there copyright concerns?
- What if I make the mold/form from a body I own?
3. Are the bodies are durable and lightweight as a purchased body?
4. Have you tried 3D printing models/forms from real car models on the internet?
5. Any resources you found particularly helpful.

Thanks in advance!
