Please could someone explain to me the Pivot Pin Insert thing ....
If I see a set up sheet with Front 0.75 In and Rear 0.75 In. How does that mean it has been set up? Is it 0.75 all round with the arrow pointing inwards ?
Thanks

Yes, that is how it should be installed if it says 0.75 In.

Trying to reduce braking oversteer coming into the corners:
MI7 suspension upgrade possibilities..
Looking for feedback on the new suspension (pivot ball) system upgrade.
Is it worth the $75 & how crash worthy is it. Also, what are the spring rates/ values
for the stock Mi7 springs ? Just need a benchmark to play around with different springs rates &
damper oil. Running 21.5FT on black ETS carpet in Chicago area , Contact A30 tires, 400-oil F-R.
thanks in advance.

The new suspension option saves a huge amount of weight which reduces the polar moment at both ends of the car (better turn in but also less likely to oversteer on entry because there is less mass in the rear trying to remain travelling on a straight line when you try to change directions). This has been and still is the domain of the Awesomatix and is the performance characteristic that all other manufactures have been chasing (just look closely at the Mugen MTC2 where the designer went to great lengths to get the shocks as close as possible to the driveshafts in order to reduce polar moments). Of course there are a whole gaggle of things that could affect oversteer under braking and new suspension might not cure the issue. I would however 100% upgrade to the new Schumacher arm design if it was me.

Lots of excitement about the new Xray X4 but nothing about the new Schumacher which has been matching the new car on pace here in the UK!!!

I have my eye on the new Xray X4 as well.

There was discussion about the pivot ball suspension ...i think it works well on certain tracks and not on others.
My fav' setup is the mid-motor Mi7 w/ the Anti Lozenge top deck ...i use that extra stiffener piece (that comes w/ the anti lozenge top deck) on gray carpet and take it off when on asphalt.

Trying to reduce braking oversteer coming into the corners:
A trick I used to use to help me stay off the brakes was to reduce my brake settings on my controller/esc ..this way even when I wanted to brake and jam my finger on the brake my car actually would still roll and not brake (if I explained that correctly). ...once I got it I turned by brakes back on.

I would wait, it looks great but I can't give anything away, photos can be found though. I think this is a mistake from Schumacher not telling people they are running a prototype car and building interest before it's release which should be this year, no fixed date yet though.

Trying to reduce braking oversteer coming into the corners:
The situation starts to appear after about 2-min into the run & only on
hairpin turns after a straightaway. I reduced the droop to around 1-mm
which is pretty low considering the track has some bumps/ridges from the
surface underneath the carpet , that helped .
Perhaps i should run stiffer springs/oil in front ? heavier sway bar ? I tend to use
about 30% drag brake , as opposed to using the brakes , i'll try a lower setting 10%..
