Team Associated Apex Question

I've noticed that Team Associated seems to have discontinued the 1/10 scale Apex. I have one. I'm thinking that maybe I should sell it before parts become totally unavailable? Does the Apex share any critical components with other platforms that have not been discontinued? Please let me know what you think.

I hadn’t heard that they were. But considering it’s been around for long time I’m not suprised. I would not be concerned about parts.

There’s been a long running rumor that Associated is getting out of on road. Just going to focus on off road.

Why shouldn't I be concerned about parts? Anyone know if the Apex shares parts with other models?

I'm not an expert in the Apex line, but I remember that the design of this car came from Thunder Tiger. So parts compatibility chances should be low in the Associated line, but a (discontinued) Thunder Tiger Sparrohawk VX could be a match.

EBay is why I don’t get concerned about parts.

I’ve had the Apex since day it reached stores. And a few learning mistakes early with parts. But over the years, the few things I’ve broken have been from impacts. Most cases not from a single hit, but from repeated hits over time.

One of the things that drew me more towards touring cars was being tired of breaking my off road stuff.
