Changed to the new cobalt motor geared like a monster and it was fast!!!

Then someone told me to gear it up, and I could barely hold onto it.

Oh well I guess I got me a new Integy lathe motor.
Its like anything else, not everyone will be happy. My motor runs as fast as any of my Monsters. I have C027 to and don't think is is really anything special except in a nice blue can. I don't find it to be any faster than my monsters or KOS just different. I like all of the motors about the same. If your car is dialed alot of different things work thats for sure.

The Integy KOS27 EVO is very sensitive to brushes and springs. On my dyno, it equaled a C27 in all catagories. Try a 220g positive spring and it really did not matter which negative but go with a 180-190gram.

Brushes were I think 767 or Putnam Blue Positive Green Negatives

Actually the Kos is just as good as any of the trinity stocks even the co27 that for some reason everyone likes...I really wish they make a brushless 27 turn motor so we all wouldnt have to jerk around tuning these things . I am tired of buying 45 pairs of brushes and sitting on my ce dyno for the extra power.I own tons of trinity stuff like alot of there stuff but i am starting to wonder if they have a bigger hold on rc cars then i thought..

Just like WYD stated. I'm running the same lap times with a Monster Stock, KOS27 and a CO27. Only thing I found out about the KOS27 is that I can go 7 to 10 runs before cutting, monster and co27 only 3 to 5.

Does anybody know where you can get the 30 degree angle brushes?
