Question......I noticed from the manual that the car comes with aluminum rear bearing carriers. I've been looking on the parts list for the car and can't find a plastic option, and the plastic part on the 2k18 doesn't list the 20M on the compatible list. I'd really prefer a plastic rear bearing carrier over the aluminum. What are my options?
Post #126 shows XRAY rear hubs. I am also interested on that part number or from which model?

Also got my parts order in and the aluminum bones will help out the stock car greatly

Help a fellow out with the part number on that rear hub? I googled the T4 but it didnít look like that 🤔

Itís most likely a part off of an earlier model Sakura. I would also suggest getting the front arms off an earlier model. The arms on the 20m are the same from the 2k18 and are super brittle.

Guys,

I am building the 20M and seem to be having an issue.....curious if anyone else ran into this. On the front steering knuckle, the SSK driveshaft doesn't seem to go all the way in and as a result, the pin will not go through the axle. I've reseated the bearings, I've tried numerous ways to fit it in....just won't go.

Anyone had this issue and how did you solve it? Also....the knuckle looks different from what is pictured. The knuckle has a long arm with three holes instead of two.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Make sure you've got the narrow 5x10x3 bearing on the inside of the knuckle.

So I noticed that the plastic bearing holder for the spool gave my belt a lot of slack. So I bought the belt tensioner and might as well two pairs of aluminum bering holders for front and rear. Turns out the aluminum bearing holders removes excess slack and Iíve got a belt tensioner I donít ned anymore.

SAK-A562 front belt tension pully
This should have been included in the kit!

For those who have found the arms to be brittle, has anyone tried the old-timer trick of boiling the plastic to soften it a little and add some flex?
