Any word on when the 2020 TCS rules are supposed to be published?

As of right now, this car is technically illegal?

it’s not illegal. It’s the newest car and they just haven’t added it.. It’s an oversight

TCS Legal

Any car that Tamiya produces is going to be TCS Legal. They're not going to market a car and not allow it to be raced in their own series. They will change the rules before they disallow their new car.

My thoughts as well....but they are also slow in updating their rules, and a new local race series is starting up that wants to 'strictly adhere to the rules'

Brass suspension mounts and variable toe in suspension set

There are the first upgrades available:

1. Brass suspension mounts XB-G
2. Toe control rear suspension set (aluminium)

There sure is a lot going on with that rear suspension.

I wonder how it will affect the width of the car.

Not at all I would suspect. if you want to change your width, you change the suspension pills.

I guess that's what I meant, since we'll be altering the inboard toe. It's going to force me to remeasure everything now.

Width of the car should not be affected. But you could get harder into corner entries with this setup while having less toe in on straights. Only my opinion. Someone should test.

My thinking is if the new suspension plastics are more durable it can't do anything but help the popularity of TFR cars.
I am putting the 420 bits on my Evo 7 and hoping for good result. Guess I will find out on the weekend...
