VBC Racing have announced the soon release of their new Lightning10X235 235mm Pro10 pan car kit. The car will feature a 7075-T6 industry-first fully adjustable front Active Lower Caster ALC system, a 7075-T6 CNC main chassis and rear lower pod with silver edge chamfers for increase handling precision and a 7075-T6 heat-treated hardened rear diff axle. The steering setup allows for an inline indirect or transverse direct front steering linkage and the chassis supports configurable inline (standard/shorty battery) or transverse (shorty battery) battery layouts. Other features include a long or short centre rear shock linkage, a TBBS-P Progressive Centre Rear Shock with diamond-cut inner shock body surface to provide superb damping smoothness and precision as well as a 7075-T6 “Aero” adjustable front steering strut bar. Full details will become available in time of the release.

Hopefully a new 12th will be on the way with this new steering system.

Good to see VBC release something. . . I was worried that they may be going away. I really like the FX-18, as I race on a low-med grip CRC rug and it is perfect for that type of grip. For the high stuff I have my F6 and Roche aluminum setups, but on this particular track the FX-18 is superior to either of those (albeit the way they are setup...). Just glad VBC is still in business as I loved the 12M and would really be pumped for an updated 1/12 scale!!

The Ghost 18 Edition-A just came out.
I hope someone at VBC can figure out how to write a manual.... |

I want to like that post. But it contains someone I won't touch. :-)

Honestly they should remove the manual from their kits... They would have some critics but they will spare a lot of mockeries!

That's right but TCR have what? twenty parts to assemble? lol

Thanks for the update jetjme!

Wondering if this new one will have the same ultra wide rear end, was tough to get the rear wheels inside the bodies. I think that is why it didn’t sell so hot. Didn’t work for indoor at the time of release. But it is a great outdoor car, we’ll see if the PF Vulcan fits on it. |
