We cannot race any nitro in this public park area, so this size is pretty good for most 1/10 electric racing. If we could have made it a bit longer, probably no more than 150' it would have been nice, but it races really well for all classes. Many layout options is the best part. When we first started racing on it, we would change the layout every race weekend. Lately we have gone to a run it twice in a row so a little continuity can be built from one race to the next. The red and white berms are made of the heat melted plastic used to make the slightly raised sidewalk crossings on the real street. They are lapped on each other so have a rumble strip effect that warns, slightly punishes as you drive on them, but usually doesn't take you out. They are lasting well as they are made to withstand the elements out on the road.
