You know you are addicted when you get rid of your full size car in order to get a truck, just so you can haul your r/c stuff.

That gets expensive...I'm still in a race mentality that I drive at higher speeds after I leave the track everytime. Not very safe but I still catch myself from getting speeding tickets.

Been there done that one as well...Toyota Tundra...with a locking ARE cover so I don't even have to unload my nitro stuff, EZ-up tent, table, chairs, coller etc...i even wired a 2000 watt DC/AC converter and mounted it on the side of the bed so I can run chargers and an aircompressor without the need of a generator.

best investment I ever made in RC.

You know you are addicted....
When you buy a fifth wheel to haul all your stuff to the races....

When you go on vacation and find all the hobby shops in the area just to see if they might have something different...

When you go to the hobby store just to hang out because it is open....

When you blow off your utilities to cover those new parts you had to have...

When you have every R/C item for sale on ebay in your watched items list...

When you can't remember any of the guys' names that you race with but know what they drive and what equipment they are running...

When you have worked on your car so long you can't see straight and have someone eyeball your camber for you...

When you get together with your buddies and all you can talk about is the new kit, hop up, that you bought or the next race ...

When you carry your car and a push broom in your car all the time just in case you find an empty parking lot...

When your internet history all has R/C in the title...

So many more but hey I am at work after all...

When you sat and read all 488 posts that where not yours at one time.

My wife actually comes to the races with me, she even went as far as making me and one of my racing buddies lexan body weights, so they would not blow away across the parking lot.

This friend of mine (true story, and it wasn't me ) took a drive to the hobby shop, left some $200.00 in advance to the shop owner, returned later with his wife, picked up a lot of new stuff and only had to pay $50 for the whole deal... His wife really got suspicious and said out loud: all that crap cannot cost only $50, something stinks here!!

Hi.... some of mine....

When mi dad says that he isn't in shape..... I tell him to discharge to 0.9v per cell.........

When I take the whole attention of my classmates and teachers (chemistry and physics) when I start talking about RC........ and I also make a lot of jokes they don't understand..... record them...... and then at the track laugh at them

When I try to convince my dad that the 1:1 car (note the 1:1 part lol ) The Renault Megane is way too high.... and therefore the CG...

When I "teach" him to drive a nice line through the city.... (I was in Karting too) and he says :" This is not a racetrack right?????????" and gets like this

I think he doesn't let me drive his car, 'cause he thinks I will drive it like I do with mi Mini ......

When I take my whole family to a race and explain them how every part of y car works......

When while trying to fall asleep I imagine how a new setup would work on my car.....

When my mom says : "It's time for sleep" and I say :" It's a homework about how physics affect mycar on the track"

When you've been sick for 2 days and have only one homework to do and you have had time to break in two motors .... rebuild a diff..... clean 14 bearings.... and when you have 30 minutes before mom starts pulling you off the PC.... you start doing your homework......

AND THE BEST PART IS THAT I ONLY OWN A M03L ... ONLY ONE CAR AND IM THE MOST ADDICTED TO THIS IN MY TRACK.....

Cheers from Bogotá, Colombia

SEBASTIAN OVIEDO S........

When you are cleaning your toilet and stop to think to yourself.. "hmmmmmmmm...... this cleaner really smells like paragon" and then call upon your mom, dad, and brother to confirm your latest discovery...

When you see a sign that says "You must be this tall to ride" and imediatly think of Chris Cooper....

If the waitresses at the waffle house asks you how your race went...
