when you work at a go-kart track and tell your boss he needs to build an onroad track, and he does it.
but then you look at the kart track and think, hey, that looks good to run on.
so you do so and race the karts.

When you say " that would be a nice lot for an RC track", everytime you drive by a vacant lot.

I would choose the girl Wally. Good ones are hard to come by. There will always be other race days.

When the cost of everything not RC related is compared to what RC equipment you can buy with that money.

$100 bucks for a dozen roses? I could buy 3 sets of 1/8th scale tires with that money, or 5 sets of TC foams.

I do it all the time. It's a really bad habit!

When you set your alarm 30 minutes early before you need to get "ready" to go to work/class, just so you can check rctech to make sure you don't miss any early morning deals....then while your are work/class daydream of what deals your probably missing while drawing in your notebook instead of taking notes trying to figure out if you want the 6.5 brushless or the 7.5 brushless.

when your college workspace looks like this:

--------------------

when you think you want to skip the first week of class back from x-mas break so you can go to the CRCRC Electric Race.

Anybody has a notebook with the last pages full of drawings of different track layouts??

This friend of mine (true story, and it wasn't me ) took a drive to the hobby shop, left some $200.00 in advance to the shop owner, returned later with his wife, picked up a lot of new stuff and only had to pay $50 for the whole deal... His wife really got suspicious and said out loud: all that crap cannot cost only $50, something stinks here!!
