The Cox mid conversion appears to really widen the electronics footprint but it's nice and symmetrical with 3 different upper deck options.

Which mid motor conversion is the least wide in terms of electronics positioning? Arrowmax?

I believe the Rebellion conversion is the narrowest.

Maybe just development parts that have been anodized black so they are less easy to see in spy photos

fairly sure such devices and design of arms would fall foul of ROAR/IFMAR/BRCA etc etc rule sets.

Yeah, I am not sure how this is going to work. As other such aids, had been banned from other R/C classes, such as Diffusers in 1:8.

Then again look at Sworkz in 1:8 offering aero upper arms for their buggy...

Yep they've wasted a lot of time designing those, they're illegal for almost all major series.

Not to mention the fact you have to drill your own holes in the chassis to mount the chassis wings.
