you need the 20 version SLP towers

If you just use the lower holes in the arms I believe this doesn’t have the same effect and handling characteristics change.

Start with 1.25-1.5 for front and 1.75-2.0 for rear. this is over ride height.

Can anyone comment on what springs rates front/rear that people have found out to work pretty good for VTA on black carpet?

I'm not a VTA guy. However I do assist a local driver that runs the T421 in VTA and ran the T420 for a season. We've found the 2.5/2.8 progressive hard springs work well on the front and 2.6 linear on the rear when the tires are fairly new (say 0 - 15 runs). Once the tires start to balloon and go soft, going to a 2.6 linear on the front and 2.5 linear on the rear helps keep the car flat and consistent.

If your budget allows a fresh set of tires in your program, front progressive hard and 2.6 rear is optimal.

Hope this helps

It's ok to ask while at the track. I'll think you'll find it varies some from one person to the next. I tend to run higher droop settings than most, could be my problem (haha), but it gives me a more direct feel. I think a good starting point is in the 5.6-5.8 front and 4.6-4.8 in the rear.
