This thread is making me laugh.
The car will be released and we will all see the features at some point, why is everyone so wound up?

Didn’t AX release a teaser over a month ago? Still no details. Don’t be clowns.

Because by trying to be too "pro" it becomes a little amateurish to some.
You have to understand it from everyone's perspective.

I’m glad there’s companies that get excited enough about their on-road program to produce quality videos about the design process and build up hype about the release. Certainly it’s a better look than exiting on-road entirely to focus on making toys. Right, AE?

AE's onroad stuff wasn't selling. I'd make the same business decision if I ran AE. They have market share for 1/10th 2WD offroad. Xray has market share for 1/10th 4WD TC.

XRAY marketing from day one has always been impressive. Only reason yall can't stand it is because no one else does it to this level. Most companies throw something on RedRC and a create a landing page and thats about it.

Aaaand you're still gonna buy the T4 2020 car lol!

Wrong thread for this, so I'll make it my last comment on the topic. But people complain about TC prices all the time, and AE was quite a bit cheaper than everybody else. And they still couldn't get it done. That's a product problem, not a market problem.

agreed. Lots of people trying to cut down tall poppies.

if any of you met the likes of Martin and Mario you would understand exactly how committed and professional they are and how much their life - and that of their family - revolves around RC and Xray.

we need more people like them, not less.

I am very passionate about rc racing and think it is great for a manufacturer to build suspence in a new release. I have seen the new car and can say it is well worth the wait.

For bench racers like myself, the marketing and forum posts are all we have to race with.

Xray T4’20, the bench racers choice.

Toy cars guys...

As much as we all find the teasers frustrating and perhaps a tad insulting, safe bet that most in here will buy a T4 20 as soon as it becomes available, so jokes on us?

I would ask some not to get on their high horse about 'cutting down tall poppies' given their own history as well (Something about the pot calling the kettle black?, I don't want to dig up history logs so lets just drop it and move on)

Lets all stay calm, wait on baited breath for each teaser, I hear they are releasing a teaser shot of a front bulkhead screw, word is it's an M3 x 6 but you didn't hear that from me

The day it's released the majority of us will be at the dealers cash in hand like a bunch of rabid dogs, getting pissy that it's 3 days late, and then do a step by step build on our facebook blogs over the 7 month build process.

Well... the thing is, there's a thread, it's all empty but a few spy shots and a "hi friends" video... so until a car is available for sale, either the thread dies or the banter continues

(having said that... on my continent I have yet to meet a racer, including xray customers (I have four currently racing xray cars at the moment, to be clear, not so long ago I had five but I sold my xb2 for a B6.1 - so I can't really be blamed for being anti-xray I guess) who doesn't think the designer suits, the "LUXURY PREMIUM QUALITY" pseudo-buzzwords, both of these we've seen for years now, and now the "Hi Friends" video aren't a tad on the stupid, off-the-mark side. When this gets combined with the unpluggedtranspondergate, Wollanka saucing his tires, the asymetric Xb4 RR block that took months of denial to finally get fixed, and now all this teasing stuff, you have to admit it's all beginning to look a bit strange after a while...)

Bring out the flippin' car, damnit!!!

Is XRAY ever going to give us aluminum dual steering servo arms and some decent spool outdrives standard in the kit? This would be highly appreciated and is standard on almost every other kit.
