GT12 - CRC Black Carpet
Will be new to GT12 class and was looking at the Schumacher SupaStox Atom Pro. I noticed that there is no center spring. Why would they leave this out? What advantages are there to running with no center spring?
Also, is this something that would even work on the high grip CRC Black Carpet?
Anyone have any experience with this car in this surface? If so, I’d appreciate hearing from you.
Thanks for the help in advance, All

The spring for the Schumacher SupaStox Atom Pro is on the rear pod. Its a system that has been used in past but not very common. I think they are wanting to create a unique design that draws interest. I have looked at this before and have been tempted to try.
If you are new to 12th scale I would not recommend buying something that is different to the standard. I have raced GT12 and have great results with the AE links car RC12 5.2.
I have raced it with all the new chassis and manage to be on pace with the fastest guys. I would pick a color and price range kit you like. I would recommend only buying new or if you buy used it needs to be mint condition. If any wear is on the 12th scale used than I would not buy. It needs to look like it was just built. 12th scales are in my opinion the best and most exciting class to race but they are very sensitive to tweak.
