GP3300, Sanyo 3000HV or UMH?
I was thinking about what battery to get but can't make up my mind. I will be racing in stock touring class and need another battery. I don't think I will be racing in Modified till next season so what battery do you think I should get?

3300GP
The 3300GP's are your best bet....:nod: But the UMH's would be a close second ...( in my book ):smile: .... But the UMH's are kind of finicky when charging...

yeah, i think promatch is the real deal. i got some killer umh's from them in september. i was so pleased that wrote them a thank you letter that they are now using on their testimonials page. check them out. the gp 33's are really heavy, most of the guys preparing for the indoorchamps at our club were running the 33's. not sure which one's but that was the most plentiful cell that i saw. yes, the umh cells are sensitive to both charging and discharging, but they tend to hold their runtime longer than the sanyos, and have far less internal resistance. of course the voltage is a bit lower as well. i'd day either umh or 33's, and a huge thumbs up for promatch. my .02

Nice to know that ProMatch are the real deal.

I've seen some awesome Promatch's here too. I'd get 3300s, but from what I have had (still use :)) for a year are the 3000HVs and still work great. Theyre freakin durable, the least finicky of all batt's Ive had and are still goin strong.

I think it depends on what car and class you are into. The 33's are heavier and in a tc3 (wich is allready light in the right rear) they make the tweak worse. That is why some people are milling their chassis to get the batts closer to center. I haven't seen anybody using the 33 have as much rip as the umh in stock class racing. For modified I think the 33's are the way to go for sure but not for stock.

3300's will work in stock. Both touring and offroad, the fastest guys I've seen run 3300s.

I just brought a Peak 3000 Sanyo with 1.155 volts, 368 seconds and at 30 amps for 50 bucks NIB. Is that a good deal or was it a bad choice made? I was going to buy the GP3300 but Pro-Match had it out of stock and I found this great deal. And how many amps and mv should I charge this pack? Thanks!!!

Peak = Team Orion cells Is your pack a National or World one ? If it's national, the voltage is excellent and runtime is good, if it's World the voltage is very good but the runtime is poor.
