Default Which Peak/Orion driver with a motor named after them won their title w/Orion or Peak

Just curious because I have heard that in order for Orion or Peak to make a special driver edition motor that they have to have won a World Title.

So! Which one of them won their title with Orion or Peak? Good trivia question!

Marc Rheinard for one and maybe Surikarn too...

I think David won his (3) with Trinity, and Hara his with Reedy...

Don't know about the Off-roaders though

The three that have won their world title while driving a peak/orion motor are Hara(2000, might had used Reedy at the time, not 100% sure), Surikarn(2002, might had used Reedy at the time, not 100% sure), Rheinard(2004), and Jukka(2001). I don't think that Pavidus(1995) or Spashett(1998) won their titles while running Orion/Peak motors, Mark was running Reedy at the time, and I think Spashett might had been using Trinity.

Surikarn, Hara, Pavidis were all Reedy.
David also won one with Corally.
Steenari and Rheinard have won with Orion and Peak respectively.

Winner.

And David's win with Corally motors was with Team Orion batteries (pre Orion motors.)

Hmmmm! Looks like we have some RC trivia masters!

Thanks for the 2 cents Rick......BUT! This was a motor question....NOT a battery question.

trf....i think the last off-road title pavidis won was in '95 @ Yatabe (sp) Arena in Japan. His yok was Reedy powered.

i'm curious about something also.....has AE/REEDY ever had "driver" edition stuff or has it always been "factory team?" (sry to butt in bobby j....the question just hit me)

Nomaak, depends how you look at it!!

Reedy released a "BK" edition motor just after the '93 off rd worlds. Technically it didn't bear the name Brian Kinwald, but it was just after he'd won for them - and left to run Trinity.

If my memory serves me correctly

Oops - just read On-road bit.

Nitpicking - '98 was a 'World Cup' for Touring Cars but we don't really care as ' a win is a win'.
