IFMAR 2020 1/12 World Championships (UK)
The 1/12 worlds has finally been separated from the TC event. Next years 1/12 IFMAR Worlds event will be held in Milton Keynes in the UK (TC will be in Netherlands later in the year)

rules now state control tyre. So yes.
4.02 A controlled tyre and rim decided by the IFMAR Electric Executive must be used. The type of tyres and rims are decided by the IFMAR Electric Executive together with the race organizer. The race organizer has to forward the recommendations based on local experiences to the IFMAR Electric Section chairman eight (8) months before the event. The final decision will be made six (6) months before the event by a majority vote of the IFMAR Electric Executive. Tyre handling is the duty of the organizer and his supplier.

Control tyres for the 1/12 worlds. They will have to be purchased track side as they'll be specially marked

I sent my entry fee. I believe FJ did as well. Was due by today so they should open it for alternates tomorrow. Send admin at roarracing dot comm an email stating you want an alternate spot and maybe you'll get instructions on how to apply. I'm not sure if you have to send payment outright and they'll refund it if you don't get a spot... I haven't received any confirmation for the payment I sent.

Sorry, I didn't read your post with very much attention because I'm turning blue from holding my breath waiting for confirmation before I book a flight.
