I also do not think i have to kind of time to have this kindly of usless debate. Anyway fyi that video was posted up by another guy who was looking at the reading of the motor, and it was not the motor builder idea to post it on youtube as it was not suppose to be known.

Anyway if u do not like ppl to share what other ppl know and can do. Pls do not come online to post this type of comments. And say this type of baseless things like "Every time you start thinking you're smartest guy in the world, you will find there are a lot of smart guys. A little humility will serve you much better. What gall."

Respectfully, I will suggest that it was not I who started this debate. You were the one who fired the first shot. You are right that this is a senseless debate, so why start it in the first place. What did you expect when you posted that video to rub everyone elses nose in it????

Perhaps, before you start lecturing others about what they post online, a more careful consideration of your own posts are in order. No response is expected since as you say, you don't have time for it.

Now your thinking, I have had several motors that looked great on a motor tester one that was turning in the 25 k area but was a dog on tourqe you have to find that balance and track size and layout play a huge part in that as well just my opinion. I can out drive a guy with a motor that has huge RPM on a big track it was proven up in Nor Cal at the regional last year thats why its good to have a choice of motors that fit the track

Kindly refer back to the post i made. I was just sharing what was on youtube and post it here to share since this is a Silver Can Motor Tips/Tricks thread, but it was u who fired the first shot by saying someone trying to be smart.

Anyway i'm not here to lecture any1.

I aready being very kind and nice when i post. At least i dun go around saying ppl trying to be smart or other ppl being a show off.

Why does there have to be a 1st shot or a war?

It is funny how people get their panties in a bunch over numbers that could be off by dyno miscalibration, bad equipment, power source, voltage, etc. . .

I would think the better argument would be the Tips/Tricks in tuning a motor to get that rpm and amp draw. Although everybody seems to have a poker hand that is close to their chest.

Does it matter if you use cheap vodka or expensive vodka? 100 proof or 80 proof?

And did you test it before or after drinking the break in vodka - that might taint the veracity of the results!

I have found that consuming a small quantity of vodka before racing a 540 helps with smoothing out your race lines=faster lap times.

A larger quantity of vodka makes your reactions a little slow=not so fast times on the track, but good times on the drivers' stand.

What FDR range do these motors like to run at once they are ready to run?
I have mine at 4.7 and it seems way to slow. It doesn't run hot anymore. The stock FDR for the F103 is 3.7 or so out of the box. (63/17) That came off the track fry an egg hot. I'm going to try the middle and see if I reach the happy medium of heat and performance.

I thought we used to run the F103 with more in the 20-22ish /104 range with a fast silver can...maybe 22-24 range for a regular silver can.
