Yes it will work. You will not get the faster response of the Super or Advanced HSR. The speed is determined by the CPU in the transmitter.

I'm using the same combination, but with the digital servo I have once in a while some interference. With an analogue servo the problem is solved.

Actually, I tried the 301 and the 302 reciever and the analogue servo (PS-2173). Both are working fine, but if I connect the digital servo I get (sometimes) interference.

Could someone please list the specific differences between the regular Helios and the competition edition?

Also...

How do these differences manifest themselves in real world performance.

Thanks

atomicandy- The filtering on the KR-302F is better then the KR-297FZ, so there should be no problems if you use an analog or digital servo.

southernfried- The competition version comes with the gold wheel and gold screws, wheel extension and newer super module. The only performance difference is the new module is more linear and more effecient.

I can only tell you switching from Futaba/Spektrum to the Helios Comp I could notice a immediate difference. I had to adjust my reactions as I think I got used to a "delay" with the Futaba/Spektrum.

The black and gold neck strap has been discontinued for almost 2 years. The only available one from KO is the Blue and Silver now.
