75% parking lot and 25% indoor carpet. No racing, just messing around with friends.

Carol stream is rather close to me.

I sat down to build my M06 tonight. But... didn't really feel like it. Then I checked this. :-/ Looks like I get to build them at the same time. Hah.

I haven't built an M07, but the M08 is a nice big jump up from the prior M05/M06 cars in terms of quality/build. I'm almost done with the build and have some more money-pit upgrades on the way. Will get pics up later.

My M08 was released from customs on 6/21 from Illinois too.

The M07 is a very nice build as well, mighty impressive to see what the M07 / M08 have become from the previous generations. I feel like I'm not racing a Toy that is race prepped anymore but a purpose built machine

Totally true! Just build mine now, just the electronics to sort. Tamiya put even an edge more love in this one compared to M07: Finally shorter dampers (by Piston rods), not the unnecessary long M07 setup, with TRF piston rods, bladders and clear O-rings. Totally smooth working CVAs. I shimmed them with 0,3mm shims under the piston, so there is no axial play anymore. The springs are the very weak gold ones, from M04 front, if I remember correctly. Really promising with the hard damper setup. Cant wait to get it on a decent track, when Ive a body and the electronics.
You will have fun building this kit, if you should get one! Seidel in Germany was sold out in 2 days!

Haha, you are right. The M05/M06 felt too much like the M03/M04 in terms of plastic and build (well, used a lot of the same parts too).

The plastics are much improved on the M07/M08 for a "budget" car and its nice how a lot of the parts come off so cleanly off the parts tree.
