There was someone on TamiyaClub that built an M06 239 wheelbase and used the Taisan 911 GT2 body, which is 236. On the rear he used arms from a TL01 I believe.

Since M08 uses different arms, that would not work.. but the arms from TC cars might

Are the rear hubs, steering uprights and "C" hubs on the M07 and M08 the same? Thanks.

Yes and no. The design is the same. The M07 comes with 0° C hubs and and caster is set by suspension arm mounting plate. Much better set up.

The M08 C hubs have a pull insert for 4° caster, which is an over engineered oversight, that makes them very fragile.

I swapped over to M07.

Steering uprights are the same.

Thanks for the quick answer. I assume the rear hubs are the same.

M08 has an insert on the lower hinge hole. M07 c hubs do not and are much stronger too.

Yes, M07 doesn’t have the highlight piece. The hole is smaller just for suspension pin

Did some practice laps with Alpine A110 body with S grips at track. It was first time for me running 210 wb on RWD, as well as Alpine body, on a track layout.

Overall, quite impressed. Great steering, very neutral body. Majority run the Suzuki, Yaris.. maybe those work better for FWD?

Going back today, will try the Ride 33.. there’s no M chassis class for us presently, so I plan on running in VTA class just go get some track time..

For Saturday, I hopped in to VTA race with my M08, so I could get some laps down and work in the ride 33. No major change in set up yet until the centre nub in tyre is gone. Last main finally broke into low 19s. I was on pace with VTA on in field but on back straight I could not keep up, due to 24t gearing and reedy 21.5 FT. On the final lap, I finally passed one of the VTA drivers 😉
