You cannot move rear hubs in RWD to change wheelbase. Driveshafts angled forwards or backwards will introduce antisquat/prosquat forces to suspension. So you have to move whole gearbox.

Right. In the M06, the whole powertrain moved fore and aft. There's enough room in the M07 to do that too... People have done chassis shortening on the M07. I was just reminding people that because the M07 won't do 210mm from the factory, that there are ways of getting 210mm if you want.

With all previous chassis you had a lot of compatible parts. Now you need specific damper stays (F&R), steering arms, steering bridge, chassis, bumper plate,.. Will be expensive.

Did you? The M05's damper stays and the M06 were different.

This looks like it might have the M07 front damper stays... maybe the rear too. Same arms it looks like. Same bumper. I bet it takes the same swaybars.. I wouldn't start complaining yet. The important bits, hubs, arms, etc.. are gonna be the same. :-)
