I would say Losi all the way. I don't think the Hara car is worth the price tag.

Lightbulb ..

Either one would be great....

The Hara has a lot of great things out of the box...

So does the XXX-S ..hmmm
but when i comes down to it the choice will have to be yours...but I think that there is a larger backing for the XXX-S in the States.. Unlike here in Japan..

I would pick the XXX-S Graphite over the Hara also. Feature for feature they are pretty close but the XXX-S is around $200 cheaper.

XXX-S....or a yokomo, or a TC3, but not the HPI.

Default You have been chosen

Everyone;

I own the USA Standard Pro-3 kit. (paid $120 usd) For me it has been a good car with no problems what-so-ever.
My feelings on buying the Hara Edition are, why spend that kind of money on an HPI (and it's STILL an HPI) when for about the same amount of money you could get something like the X-Ray.
Both cars are double deck graphite but the quality of the X-Ray is 10 times better than any HPI Car. (no I don't own an X-Ray)
Compare and you'll see what I mean.

If you dont have a preference one way or the other, buy the cheaper of the two and spend the extra money on something else you would like.

Don't forget to ask your Hobby shop which of the two kits has a better parts back up. Also Have a look on his display and see for yourself which kit he has the most spares for. Believe me it is just as Important as any of the other considerations you will have to make.
When I had my Tamiya TA03F I was searching for a few Hop Ups. (The car was still in production at the time). I tried every shop in my area and no one stocked the parts I wanted. I finally ordered them through one of the local stores and three months later I got the phone call that the parts had finally arrived..... Not the sort of thing you want to have to go through every time you want a part is it???
Parts Back up should be one of your highest priorities when buying a Kit in my opinion.

I would always go for parts support over just about anything else. We all know the Hara car is just as competitive as any of the other top sedans, so it all comes down to how much you are paying for the car and how available the parts are. It sounds like you're good on both fronts, so I don't see anything wrong with getting the Hara car.

No spare parts mean no driving, usually for months, sometimes even more.
