It is not bashing, it is the truth. Protoform will most likely not change. It is very profitable to keep selling you a new body when they are beyond reasonable repair.

which is part of the problem... Maybe not that they notice the loss in sales mainly due to the durability they will fix that issue that has always been my one and complaint

Back to the question tho.. id be all in favor of regular weight bodies with a body weight rule for ALL classes. I think guys would go back to painting if a body lasted longer, all these 1 color paint jobs suck

I dont feel that has as much to do with thin bodies as much as its new bodies coming out and mounting them in 5 different positions

I don't do one color paint jobs because of weight. I do them because I'm lazy! I'm guessing there are a few people out there like me.

PF bodies are a joke, painted a new D9 LW body for the birds, final prep yesterday ran the body, one light hit and the body tore
My M410 has taken a beating for months ... Will defiantly be spraying a new M410 at the birds ... and this was my last PF purchase

I'm lazy, and generally don't have the time but I do a craptastic two color bomb job!

Plus, I really don't give a crap about the body. I just want to play with my toy car.

I run solid pink becaue I like pink and I can see it. I'll gladly run a "legit" paint scheme when someone offers to paint my bodies for free.

Agreed. In TC I've prefered LW/ULW over regular because they last longer. I've had two regular weight bodies in the last few years and neigher made it through one day without a major issue.

Keep in mind...I run into stuff more than most but that just means I need a more resilient body.
