Tuned specific motors for F-1. There are a few motor companies that have F1 versions of 25.5 motors. Are they reAlly worth it? 25.5 seems to have a pretty good resistance limit that makes this not so important (unlike 21.5. & 17.5). Thoughts??? What you guys use and why and track characteristics? One track might be. Etter for torque over rpm and vice versa?

Trinity and TSR have F-1 tune options that I know of for sure. I think they have the rpm rotors.

Interesting, so are the Trinity F1 tuned motors different (ie different rotor etc) or is it more a case of testing them to see what they arebetter suited for? I take it that F1 cars would be better with less torque/higher rpm than a TC since they are so light?

I have a Monster Max that is for my TC but the club has just announced a spec motor so it will more than likely end up in my F1. I'll probably just end up slower due to never having traction, its bad enough with my old Speed Passion motor.

Roar motor list says revtech can use red, blue or black rotors in the description. I am guessing this is the difference when you order the spec on Trinity web site where it says to note application that you are using motor for?

I am not sure what are you are saying about TSR 25.5 tune rotor.. The only rotor the is allow in 25.5 it is mark as the F1 Dim 12.3mm
Did I missed something ?

Dimensions are the same but I think there are different strength rotors.

ROAR rules do have resistance limits for 21.5 and 17.5.

I know that the TSR 25.5 has the same rotor (12.3) and it is marked F1 for both applications. If you request it the timing may be set by them for your application.
They have a new 25.5 , the V3 that is available but not ROAR approved yet. I have tested it in VTA and it is a screamer. 12% higher Kv at the same amp draw on a motolizer.

Yes they do but we're late to the game to reign it in. 25.5 they got it right before the motor war started unlike 21.5 or 17.5.

My Trinity motors for the F1 class have been very good. Even my Lipo Factory battery.Trinity makes either a 24K or the Xfactor for F1 no Montser Max.The Xfactor is stronger in the corners than the 24K (to me).
