Feel free to share setups, pics and anything related . Here is my build at the moment. https://cimg8.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.rct...1ca9f30a6f.jpg |

I found the stock battery holders to be very heavy |

is there an advantage to the alloy servo mount?
I found the stock battery holders to be very heavy I don't think it has other advantages, maybe only the slight weight reduce. And your ta07ms looks great! |

I just wanted the carbon look battery holders, I have a set of vigor carbon battery holders and they look really nice, for the aluminum servo mount its just bling.

Given that there's four carbon chassis on the market, I think this shouldn't be it's own thread.

Chassis build is finished. Will either save my pennies for electrics or swap over my electrics at seasons end.

I just finished my build what a car, it looks amazing, I have a 419xr as well and the 07ms looks so much nicer, not sure to race it or put it in a glass case, lol. once I have the electronics in which are the same as the 419xr, I can do a comparison.

I’ll be testing my car for the first time Friday. Hopefully the small changes I’ve made will help. The car will not balance with the Tamiya battery holders. I ditched them for the Tamiya 419xr holders. I made a center chassis brace. I felt the car was to flexible for carpet. One shock leaks no matter how many orings I’ve changed. (Garbage) May put Xray shocks on the car. The car built great. But the instructions were terrible for the proper shimming. |
I did the same with the battery holders, switched to the 419xr ones with vigor carbon support, the shimming was off but if you have built enough rc kits you can figure it out. The shock is a surprise as Tamiya shocks are one of best in business, but can,t go wrong with Xray either, anyone try this with regular shocks with high mount stays?

I haven't tested my car. But tested my trf shocks on my yokomo bd8. No leakage luckily. I cant believe how heavy the ms battery holders are. Might get some carbon ones made.
