Not sure. Haven't tested yet. Just noticably heavy when holding then

when you put the standard ones that come with the kit, and all electronics are installed, the battery side is heavier can the car does not have equal balance from left to right unless you add more weight to the electronic side. but when you remove the holders the car can be balanced perfectly, That is what I found so added the 419 battery holders and they worked great, best part is they even look better. I just ordered another kit just to built and keep as a shelf queen, this kit is so beautiful, really hope it performs as good as the 419xr. Will find out in 2 weeks.

Both the 419xr and the TA07ms are performing very well at a 2 day race in Stockton, Ca. Qualified 2nd with the xr in 13.5 spec. And 3rd in 17.5. The TA07 is very stable with the center brace I made. The car is extremely predictable and precise. One more qualifier in the morning and double mains. Should be fun

I used (2) button head screws that attached under the motor mount and servo mount

thank you!,you have made the carbon brace yourself right,
Ahh I have not the tools too make one.
But maybe someone I know else will help me with it.
What are the sizes for the brace?
Have too raced also without the brace?Amnd what us the main difference?

I’m racing on carpet with good grip for its first outing. So I’ve never tried the car without it. I used a dreamer, drill and a file. Not hard to do. I also put an old school 415 D block bridge on the front to stiffen the car up.

Pic of the D bridge installed

In stock form it had too much flex for high grip carpet???

I raced 3 classes with 3 different Tamiya cars. I went the safe route for set up. I drove poorly in the mains. But the 419xr matched fast lap in 13.5 fixed timing and gearing. I finished 3rd I think. I used the TA07MS in 17.5 which is basically the same speed as 13.5. Fast lap was 10.9 in 17.5. My fast lap in 17.5 was 11.0. The car is showing a lot of potential.

Looks like someone else is racing the TA07MS. And it appears it’s set up mid motor
Kiyo Suzuki Marc’s old mechanic is racing the TA07MS. He had the motor mounted in the rear
